Trick or Treat for a Healthy DC!
Come relive your childhood Halloween memories with the Paid Sick Days for All campaign, and trick or treat for a healthy DC. On October 31, from 6 to 9 PM, restaurant workers, activists, young folks and not so young will be coming together and hitting the streets among the throngs of trick-or-treaters. But instead of asking for candy, we’ll be asking our friends and neighbors in Petworth to sign our petition to ensure that all workers in DC have access to paid sick days (well, we might ask from some candy, too!).

Rally to demand transparency in elections!
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which accepts millions of dollars to advance the interests of massive corporations, has pledged to spend as much as $100 million on ads attacking candidates who don’t fall in line with its corporate agenda. Until the Chamber discloses its donors Corporate America will remain unaccountable to the American public. Enough is enough. Let’s stand up to the Chamber’s corporate propaganda and demand disclosure!
Help The Public Citizen and SEIU 500 throw the kind of birthday party the Chamber deserves!
