Who do you think deserves the dubious distinction of Scrooge of the year? Each year, DC Jobs with Justice honors someone with the least sought after title of Scrooge of the year. To be eligible for the Scrooge of the year award, the nominee can be a person or company that has done dastardly deeds to the working men and women of Washington, D.C. Some of the past awardees of the Scrooge of the year award include former Mayor Adrian Fenty, the Washington Hospital Center, and the Chamber of Commerce. DC Jobs with Justice is accepting nominations for Scrooge up until November 18th. Once the majority of the nominations are in, folks can start voting on who they think deserves the title. Whoever wins the most votes will be crowned Scrooge of the year at the DC Jobs with Justice Winter Cabaret on December 10th. So pass the word around about who you think should be nominated for Scrooge of the year and put your nomination in here http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/23HGMGF.
