La Unión de Trabajadors recently co-sponsored a regional soccer tournament with other day labor organizing initiatives through the Virginia Justice Center and the Centreville Day Labor Resource Center, there were 60 participants in total. rnrn
rnrnThis event was much more than just a soccer match, it was the coming together of like-minded individuals and a chance for forging bonds and increasing solidarity across state lines. We look forward to organizing the next tournament on our turf in DC this summer.
