Human Right’s People’s Movement for a press conference to release their report on the state of human rights in the District of Columbia. rnrnThe City Council of the District of Columbia declared Washington, DC a Human Rights City in 2008 after a campaign initiated by the American Friends Service Committee of DC Peace and Economic Justice Program and People’s Movement for Human Rights Education.
