On November 12th We Are Family and Positive Force held a benefit concert for the National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON). D.C. artist Ted Leo and the Pharmacist performed to a crowd of 1,000 people at Sacred Heart church. Social Justice organizations, such as D.C. Jobs with Justice, STITCH, SOA Watch and NDOLN tabled at the event giving information to the concert attendees. Molly MP of Positive Force said “It was a really big event for us and we were proud to serve the all ages non club scene AND the activist community with a space for music and collaboration and learning. We felt like the tables and the dialogue really made an impact”. For more information on the wonderful work that Positive Force and NDOLN does go to www.positiveforcedc.org and www.ndlon.org.
