The 2008 National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s Annual Conference is a large gathering of community stakeholders who promote housing and economic development and support equal access to credit, capital and banking services for America’s working families.rnrnThe conference features in-depth trainings and plenary sessions on issues such as fair housing and fair lending, the Community Reinvestment Act, asset building strategies, foreclosure counseling, the relationship between environmental and economic justice, community organizing, small business development, fundraising and more.rnrnOur 2008 conference, titled “Creating a Vision for a Fair Economy: Investing in People and Communities†features two full days of trainings, workshops, plenaries on a wide variety of community development topics, as well as a special full day session entitled “Foreclosing on the American Dream: Recreating Sustainable Homeownership”.
