Last fall the DC Police reversed 20 years of a policy of non-collaboration with ICE when they implemented the so-called "Secure Communities Program." A city that was once a sanctuary for immigrants is now participating in a national deportation program. From now on, anyone arrested and fingerprinted in DC will have their fingerprints automatically turned over to ICE. Now is the time for the community to hold the line for immigrant rights! Join us Friday at city hall to say "NO" to Secure Communities.
