The Catholic Labor Network’s 2010 Gathering will focus on Labor and Catholic Health Care institutions. Theologians, scholars, clergy, trade union activists, and Catholic health care leaders will participate in panels on the experience of union organizing and bargaining in Catholic hospitals, the USCCB document “A Fair and Just Workplace: Principles and Practices for Catholic Health Care,†and Pope Benedict XVI’s new encyclical “Caritas in Veritate.â€
