STITCH

STITCH builds and supports the leadership of women workers in Central America and the U.S. who are organizing for economic and social justice. Through program exchanges, workshops, delegations, and documentation, we build skills and ties of understanding between Central American and U.S. women leaders, workers, and activists.

Constituencies: immigrants, workers, youth, women. Members include workers in maquiladoras, banana plantations, poultry plants, as well as union members and healthcare and office workers.

Tactics: advocacy and education.
