The DC Labor Chorus is a musical ensemble representing union members from the Washington, DC, area. Some of us are professional musicians but most of us are union members and activists who just love to sing!
TriFlava is a progressive hip-hop and beyond band consisting of three members, Christylez Bacon (emcee, beatbox, guitar, djembe), Slyce-D (emcee, poet, beatbox), and Myke P. (piano, guitar, djembe, etc). All members are from the Southeast section of the District Of Columbia.
The ECAC has been selected to partner with the DC Labor Chorus in their Spring Fling Fundraising event to raise money for ECAC’s continued support of our dynamic community space and for labor and social justice issues. The talented progressive hip-hop group TRIFLAVA featuring Christylez, Slyce-D and Myke-P will open the show with a unique blend of world music and empowering messages.
We urge you to contribute to our cause. Half of the proceeds will support ECAC’s efforts to empower the community with affordable arts, education, support groups, social activities and civic engagement.
If you are not able to attend the concert, your donation of a ticket will enable others less fortunate to attend, and will be a tax-deductible donation.
