Hot Chocolate and Coffee Donations:
Despite the chilly weather, DC's day labors are out in full force looking for work. We are seeking volunteers to bring hot chocolate or coffee any weekday morning to the hiring site at the Rhode Island Avenue Home Depot.

The District continues to be on the leading edge of the immigrant rights issue as members of DC Jobs with Justice's Coalition and other community groups packed the Wilson Building on January 6 to support legislation, co-sponsored by all 13 members of the DC CityCouncil, limiting local enforcement of federal laws governing the detention of undocumented migrants.
