Join day laborers from across the country in demanding an immediate termination to the controversial 287(g) program operated by the Department of Homeland Security. The program, which was recently expanded by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, relinquishes the power to enforce federal immigration law to local law enforcement and corrections agencies. It has resulted in the widespread use of pretextual traffic stops, racially motivated questioning, and unconstitutional searches and seizures primarily in communities of color.
